Yeah, I know that he's a World Champion and stuff, but so is Jenson Button, and y'all don't even mention him. Even if h was great in the past, I think he's proven himself to be an unadaptable driver this year.

Because he's hilarious.

Is that it?! That's the only thing I like about him. "I was having a shit."

That's why he's my favorite anyway.

More about his "Idon'tgiveashitwhereismyicecreamandmonkeysuit" attitude than anything else. He left F-1 and drove rally cars and NASCAR trucks because he wanted to. He races dirt bikes because he wants to. He can be very fast when he wants to.

I agree that he is hilarious, but when he left for NASCAR he was awful, only doing two races. WRC? 21 rallies. 24th and 35th place. I think that he can drive a high-downforce F1 car very well, as proven by even his Lotus F1 years, but this year and NASCAR and WRC prove that he's not good when the going gets slippy.

That said, that mood chart is one of the funniest things ever.

Not saying I think he is the greatest, but I understand why people appreciate him. He just doesn't fir the F-1 mold. He also did a nice job at Lotus...until the stopped paying him.

He is not a robot. Among drivers that can be a rarity. Look at Jimmie Johnson's following in NASCAR. He's great but is fanbase doesn't come close to matching his on-track success.

Part personality, part banzai overtaking. You didn't see it in this race as the Ferrari was a bit lacklustre all round, but give him a decent car and he can get past in places other people wouldn't even consider trying.

It's not just because this:
Or this:
It's because he's a no bullshit driver. He's an overtaking genius. Back in 2013 he was going for the record for the longest stretch of winning at least one point. In the final 2 laps he passed 8 drivers. At Monaco. That's just nuts.
